2023 NTTC Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for the National Tribal Trial College Certificate in Tribal Court Legal Advocacy. Please complete the following application and submit the following documents:

1. Completed and signed application form.
2. Personal statement. Please answer the following questions:
   • Why do you want to complete this certificate in Tribal Court Legal Advocacy?
   • How will this course benefit you and your community?
   • Please note that this personal statement will be considered as a writing sample.
3. Current Résumé or CV.
4. A signed letter from the clerk of your Tribal Court or current sitting Tribal Court Judge (written on a Tribal Court letterhead) certifying that you will be allowed to practice in the specified Tribal Court once you complete the Certificate in Tribal Court Legal Advocacy.

Please make sure that you have submitted all the necessary documents. Students who apply or complete their applications after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis. Incomplete applications will be considered after completed applications have been reviewed. Applicants will be notified of their application status on or before January 20, 2023. The online course will begin on February 6, 2023 and end on July 2, 2023. The final 40-hours of interactive training will be held July 17-21, 2023.
